Does I need an amplifier? Most of the time when travelling, you will need to add an amplifier or use the one enclosed in your aerial.

What are the technical specifications of the Saturn Omni 3000? The Saturn Omni 3000 TV antenna has a fibreglass shell covering 2 aerials – one VHF, one UHF. Also, inside the shell is an digital amplifier that boosts the signal by 34dB on the UHF and 28dB on the VHF. The 2 aerials are dipoles (in a circular pattern). The frequency range for the Saturn TV antenna is from 48MHz – 840MHz.

Is the Saturn TV antenna a DIGITAL antenna?
The Saturn TV antennas have been ready for the digital reception since 2001. The amplifier inside the shell has been manufactured for the digital reception by GME Kingray in Sydney.
